The 750 was a smaller-engined variant of the original 1994 Speed Triple, built for some European markets where tax or insurance favoured lower capacity. It used the same naked, cafe-racer-styled look and tubular steel frame as the 900 but with a shorter-stroke triple. The Speed Triple range quickly gained its own one-make race series.
